The Exchange on is worse than thesimsresource. I know you mentioned that you didn't want to download from there. Has a lot of cute female hairs, I haven't checked out the male hairs however. Like newsea, some are 'donator' hairs, some are free, check it out anyways. With Newsea you have to download for a lot of it, but there are some free hairs. I like tumblrs for cc, they tend to be easy to navigate. I understand this forum is old, but for anyone still reading here are a few cc sites. I Downloaded More Than 200 Things From There! So what I'm looking for is custom content sites that are both free, and safe, without worrying (more than usual at least) about getting viruses from.
I got a bad virus that it took me days and a lot of headaches to get off my computer, from there. I also know (from personal experience) that as much as they have some great stuff, The Sims Resource is NOT safe. I know about Mod the Sims, love that site! And that it's (as much as any site can be online, I suppose) pretty safe (as in not a place you're likely to get viruses from). So, if anyone's offended that I'm asking without doing a search of the forums, I did try.īut, for those of you whom are feeling helpful and informative, here's basically what I'm looking for: I got so many posts as a result of the search, mostly it seemed about problems people were having with custom content, that it boggled my brain*L* First of all, I tried doing a search of the forums before making this post, but perhaps I didn't narrow down the search paramaters enough or something.
